Terry Dewhurst

We are saddened to learn of the passing of long-time EMSC member Terry Dewhurst. Not only was Terry a phenomenal swimmer (he still holds 22 individual club records!), he was also a dedicated member of our club. He served as a Board member for many years, and he and his wife Norma were fixtures at club social events. Terry truly was an ambassador for the sport of masters swimming and he will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Terry will be held Saturday, November 4 at 2:00pm at Rio Terrace Church (15108 76 Ave. NW). More details can be found in the announcement here.

Get Certified as an Official

Help out at our meets or youth swimming meets by becoming certified as an official.

Swim Alberta is hosting fall clinics starting next week, please register at the link below.

The clinics being held are:

  • CFJ/CJE
  • Meet Manager
  • Chief Recorder and Recorder
  • Starter
  • Administration Desk

Here is the USER GUIDE for the officials, on how to register for a clinic.

All the clinics will be held via zoom, all the participants will receive a login link closer to the clinic as well as a calendar invite.

2023 Preliminary National Rankings

EMSC is currently leading the country in the National “CB (Christian Berger) Value Points” Race after all Provincial and National Championships have been completed and all results have been recorded!
