Richard John Roberts (1942 – 2017), a former Edmonton Masters swimmer (1989? – 1998?) and active St. Albert Masters swimmer until his death, passed away this summer. His family asked that you do one or more of the following in memory of him:
- Eat an expensive, good quality chocolate bar
- Enjoy at least three big scoops of ice cream
- Watch a movie with subtitles including the credits at the end
- Read a good book
- Sing out of tune
- Dance or clap off-beat
- Swim a few laps in a Speedo
- Do all the Decathlon events
- Race Walk
- Discuss Theology
- Eat a bag of cookies in one sitting
- Take blurry photographs
- Enjoy more than one Brussel sprout
- Listen to “The Weight” by The Band and/or “Lookin’ Out My Back Door” by Creedence Clearwater Revival
- Play a game of chess
- Love and be proud of your family and friends – life is too short for unhappiness and dissent
