Congrats, team!

Congrats to all of our amazing swimmers who competed in the Making Waves annual sprint meet this weekend in Edmonton. We had some great races by all. Included are a team photo and a shot below of three courageous individuals who swam every single event (there were close to 20) – from left to right, Logan Szarka, Jeff Lam and Adam Amer! Hope you’re resting up, guys. Who’s up for doing this next year?
Also, remember that provincials are coming up in Calgary on April 6-7, 2019. See you in the pool…

Dive Into Peace

The FINA World Masters Championships began in Tokyo, Japan in 1986 and continued in even-numbered years until the 2014 Montreal Championships. Since then, the Masters competition has been held at the same place and shortly after the (Elite) FINA World Championships.

This year, the Championships are being held in Gwangju, South Korea. The swimming competition runs from August 12th to 18th.

All information about registration, visa procedures, schedule, qualifying times, etc. can be found on the Official Championship Website.
